School Mission
Madison Elementary School provides a comprehensive, sequential standards-based curriculum that targets the individual needs of the students of significant sub-groups (English Learners, Socio-economically disadvantage, Latino) in order for them to demonstrate proficiency through ongoing District and State Assessment. Our Mission is the continual improvement of literacy for our students through increased writing competency, reading comprehension, and academic vocabulary development through research-based teaching practices including direct instruction in a school environment that promotes character, which in turns produces good citizens. The school community will ensure that every student is given the opportunity to learn, master and exceed grade level standards as determined by an analysis of measurable data.
